Letters to Palestine
Ahed Tamimi
Coming from a family of activists, Ahed is not unfamiliar with how far the Zionist occupation will go to suppress Palestinian rights. After gaining widespread attention in 2017 after slapping an IOF soldier who shot her cousin in the head with a rubber bullet, she herself became a symbol of resistance against the oppressive forces of the Zionist entity.
Ahed is also no stranger to the prisons of the IOF, spending a significant amount of time in its cruel cells. Despite that, she continues her activism and has been involved in various protests and actions, and has spoken at length against the israeli occupation and its treatment of Palestinian prisoners.
