Bisan Owda

One of the first faces we’ve come to recognize early on in Gaza’s escalated genocide, Bisan has been at the forefront of coverage over the past two years.

Her iconic “this is Bisan from Gaza, and I’m still alive” line has been the start of many of our mornings. We’ve laughed, cried, and celebrated with her as she was finally able to return to her home in North Gaza.
