Palestinians attacked in Austin: The Scourge of zionism continues its violent crusade
The United Liberation Front resoundingly condemns, in the strongest terms, the savage anti-Palestinian, Islamophobic attack on four young Palestinian Muslim youth by a white assailant—identified as Bert James Baker.
Baker, driven by his repugnant hatred, initially attempted to tear a flagpole adorned with a Palestinian Kuffiyeh and the words “Free Palestine” from their vehicle. Subsequently, he unleashed a torrent of racial slurs, spewing the n-word with venom, before forcibly dragging one victim out of the car and physically assaulting him.
Despite the swift response of the other vehicle occupants who valiantly fought off this racist aggressor—as they subdued him—he brandished a knife, plunging it into the chest of one young man, shattering his rib.
Standing firm from Bakersfield, California—we express unwavering support and solidarity with our Austin, Texas community, now forced to bear witness to yet another manifestation of violent Islamophobia, fueled by poisonous rhetoric from media outlets, Congress, and the White House.
This assailant, akin to those responsible for the tragic loss of Wadea Al Fayoume and the shooting that left Hisham Awartani paralyzed—as well as those who propagate genocidal and violent ideologies—all bear the stain of blood on their hands. We hold them collectively accountable and all equally complicit.
Make no mistake – we will not hesitate from employing every available means to shield our community from the scourge of violence orchestrated by racists, bigots, and zionists. Our commitment to protect and stand against injustice is unwavering and resolute.
