Condemnation of the DSA, Sanders’ Remarks, and the Zionist entity’s ‘Right to Exist’
The United Liberation Front for Palestine continues to acknowledge the self-serving political allegiances between the Zionist entity and the Imperial Core that is the United States.
As we are engulfed in the midst of this election cycle, we will begin to see so-called “allies” of the Palestinian Liberation movement removing their faux solidarity masks and exposing their true intentions in collecting votes for the so-called “socialist left”—which still incorporates itself within western neoliberalism. We reject those politics and the concessions they attempt to force on us.
This weekend, a rally was held in the Bronx to support incumbent representative Jamaal Bowman against an AIPAC-funded candidate. We continue to be firm in our stance that Bowman and those of his party (AOC, Sanders, etc.) are not the answer to Palestinian liberation as long as they continue to believe in the Zionist entity’s right to exist.
In response, Within Our Lifetime (WOL)—a Palestinian liberation group upholding the Thawabet—organized a protest opposite of this rally with the express goal to push these politicians to condemn and de-endorse Biden, who is a primary architect of the genocide happening on Palestinians in Gaza right now. Instead, hordes of members belonging to the Democratic Socialists of America—a sect within the Democratic Party that includes the likes of AOC and Bowman—launched an online smear campaign against Palestinians standing for liberation and against statements like the one made by Bernie Sanders, who continued to affirm the Zionist entity’s right to defend itself.
The United Liberation Front for Palestine reaffirms that the systems that allow for the Zionist entity’s existence will never be a viable conduit to Palestinian liberation. We continue to stand with organizations like Within Our Lifetime and Palestinian Youth Movement in calling for a boycott against the DSA until leadership changes are made and the Thawabet are upheld. Anything less is a betrayal to our Palestinian siblings at the front fighting for their right to exist.
