PALESTINE IS NOT FOR SALE
The United Liberation Front for Palestine strongly condemns the violent attacks by Zionist groups against steadfast protesters along with the recent disinformation campaign orchestrated by LA Mayor Karen Bass, Imperial Core leader Joe Biden, and other Democratic Party figures regarding the pro-Palestinian protest at Adas Torah synagogue.
The protests, organized by @palestinianyouthmovement, aimed to highlight the synagogue’s hosting of an event promoting real estate in Occupied Palestine—essentially selling stolen Palestinian land. The demonstration was well-publicized beforehand with clear intentions behind its location and purpose.
As the protest commenced, Zionist groups initiated violent assaults on demonstrators and members of the press, with LAPD officers joining in on some of those attacks. Despite this, city officials, state leaders, and national media outlets have chosen to propagate falsehoods about the protest’s nature, effectively siding with terrorist sympathizers and collaborators and distorting the true motives of the demonstration. This includes falsely equating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.
We stand in solidarity with our allies in asserting that these unfounded allegations are an attempt to conceal the fact that Adas Torah synagogue was complicit in the ongoing genocide of Palestinians by allowing such an event to take place within its premises. It is our collective responsibility to protest against such actions, and these accusations of anti-Semitism are also a diversion from the brutal violence unleashed by event attendees on protesters and journalists alike, including the use of racial slurs and physical intimidation.
Whether in Bakersfield, Los Angeles, or elsewhere, we remain steadfast. No institution complicit in genocide will escape accountability. Across Occupied Turtle Island, it is imperative that we dismantle Zionism in all its forms, dismantle the war machine that sustains it, and challenge the political structures that endorse it. We will continue to stand united with our comrades, confronting any institution that seeks to support, advocate for, or aid the Zionist cause within our communities.
