Our Ideology

The United Liberation Front [ULF] recognizes the relationship between capitalism and imperialism and firmly stands against both.

OUR STANCE ON CAPITALISM

The system of capitalism incentivizes a multitude of imperialist objectives. The profit-driven motives of capitalism always leads to the extraction of surplus value from the worker—exploiting labor. From social inequality, the alienation of labor, cyclical economic crises, to the monopolization of public services and inherent class conflict—the system of capitalism ultimately goes hand in hand with imperialism, as the concentration of economic power in the hands of the few leads to imperialistic tendencies, where powerful nations seek to control resources and markets globally.

OUR STANCE ON IMPERIALISM

We recognize imperialism as a necessity for capitalism to “successfully thrive” as it is closely tied to capitalist interest. Powerful nations, notably the United States and its western counterparts—driven by motives centered around profit—use imperialism to control resource-rich nations or nations with strategic locations, exploiting their resources and using them as a base of operations. Imperialism is an extension of capitalist exploitation, perpetuating the cycle of global inequality and harming the well-being of people in colonized and oppressed regions.
