“Never say that those martyred in the cause of Allah are dead—in fact, they are alive! But you do not perceive it.” (Quran 2:154)
Moments ago, it was confirmed by Lebanese Resistance that Secretary-General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated by Zionist forces after striking Beirut yesterday.
Hassan Nasrallah was—like nearly every resistance leader in the region—a victim of displacement, specifically perpetuated by the Lebanese Civil War, backed by the Zionist entity. Even in his early years, Nasrallah had a clear understanding of what the Zionist entity represents, and what the liberation of Palestine means to the global liberation movement.
Resistance movements within Palestine and Lebanon commend his leadership in pushing against the Zionist cancer that has been choking the region for decades. His leadership during the 2000 expulsion of and the 2006 aggression by “israel” saw a bitter defeat of the Zionist entity and showed the world that “israel” and its hegemony on the region would never stand.
His decision to support the Palestinian resistance currently pushing back against the Zionist invasion of Gaza for almost a year, set the precedent for a historic axis of resistance, the likes of which we have not seen in our history. In his words, the liberation of Al-Quds was a moral and legal duty to be upheld. His actions were a condemnation of the normalizers and traitors of Arab countries that sat and watched as Zionist forces decimated Gaza.
We are once again witnessing the cursed hand of the Zionist entity assassinate a leader of a resistance movement that has kept it at bay for nearly 30 years, an entity which is now more emboldened than ever to wipe all semblance of resistance against it and eventually any form of opposition to it—including existence. However, we are also assured that our resistance movements are not held together by one leader or a handful of leaders, but by many who carry the responsibility to see through a liberated Palestine.
“…and you carry your soul and march forward to Jerusalem, to Palestine…all of Palestine.“
Glory to our martyrs.
