It is with a heavy heart that the United Liberation Front for Palestine (ULFP) announces the martyrdom of Sheikh Khaled Nabhan “Abu Diyaa’” after he was killed by Zionist forces moments ago.

Sheikh Khaled Nabhan, the man who captured our hearts as he mourned his granddaughter Reem, calling her Ruh el-Ruh…the Soul of his Soul, passed this realm in a state of purity. With his kind demeanor and soft-spoken voice, he chose to mourn his grandchildren Reem and Tarek, but not despair. Instead, he took the role of being a consoling figure for families who lost their own children amidst the genocide that is still taking place.

In the midst of this, he also began to adopt and take care of orphaned children, caring for them as best he could while hoping to honor the memory of the family he lost. His love extended wide, for even the kittens were not spared of his care, as he took the time to feed them every so often.

His loss is a great pain. We mourn and honor his life as he reunites with his dearly departed grandchildren in paradise, inshallah.
